Customer story

From a prototype to a letter of intent in two weeks.

Gregory Runyan spent his career in K-12 education. Using AI tools, he built a working prototype of IncidentMethod, a school incident management product for Massachusetts schools and districts. His network opened pilot conversations at a nearby public school, and those conversations were moving faster than the product. He had no engineering team and no CTO to guide the technical decisions for a launch.

He weighed a technical co-founder search, months long with no guarantee. A dev shop, which meant a spec written alone and work he could not judge. Continuing solo, which kept the gap open. He chose Plexor Labs instead, a fixed-scope engagement at a fraction of the cost that delivered a working demo in just two weeks.

"I saw an opportunity rooted in a problem I'd lived myself as a school leader, and I needed to chase it now. A system handling sensitive student data required expertise outside my lane. Plexor's acceptance checks solved all of that: eleven standards we agreed on up front, and two weeks later I had a working demo in front of a superintendent."

What happened

He paid for the outcome, not the hours.

The engagement opened with 11 pass-or-fail acceptance checks, written together and signed before any build work started. A deployed build worth roughly 200 hours of engineering work passed all 11 checks in 14 days. Greg took that demo into a meeting with a local superintendent and left with a letter of intent.

What he paid $2,000
What it could have cost $20,000 200 hours at $100 an hour

Your turn

Your opportunity will not wait either.

You define what done looks like, and nothing ships until it's there. Bring us the idea, the doc, or the backlog item, and we'll turn it into working software when it counts.
